Today 30th and 31st May, our KadazanDusunMurut community in Sabah will be celebrating Pesta Kaamatan.
Then, two days later on 01st June, the Dayak community in Sarawak will be celebrating Gawai.
This year is different for all of us as we will celebrating during the pandemic & it will be a new norm
Due to the pandemic, we can't celebrate one of the biggest celebrations here in Sabah. KDCA is closed. No sugandoi. No Unduk Ngadau. No Aramaiti.
However, it is the spirit of the tradition that matters the most.
