The Prince Skyline is the predecessor vehicle to what would become the Nissan Skyline. The second generation of the Skyline, styled by Shinichiro Sakurai and internally designated the S50, was the final generation to be branded as a Prince. Powered by a 1.5L G-1 inline-4, the Prince Skyline quickly became one of the most desirable cars of the time. Production ended in 1968 with 114,238 produced.
The initial livery is based on the #39 Skyline GT that competed in the 1964 Japanese Grand Prix; at the time the race was a sports car racing event and would only become a Formula One race in 1976. The car was driven by Yoshikazu Sunako and finished second behind a Porsche 904.
