This is a Ferrari 499P Modificata. Styled by Flavio Manzoni of Centro Stile Ferrari and Carlo Palazzani and designed by Ferdinand Cannizzo and Stefano Carmassi, the 499P Modificata is a track day special race car manufactured by Ferrari for their Sport Prototipi Clienti program.
Unveiled in October 2023 at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali, the 499P Modificata is, in essence, an unrestricted non-competitive version of the 499P Le Mans Hypercar competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. It is described by Ferrari as "the highest-performance closed-wheel car that Ferrari has ever proposed".
Similar to the 499P, the 499P Modificata is powered by a 3.0L F163CG twin-turbocharged V6, mated to an Xtrac 7-speed sequential and assisted by a Ferrari 900 V battery, all of which are virtually identical to the 499P race car; unlike the 499P however the engine is unrestricted as it is not meant for competition, allowing it to pump out 858 hp. As with the race car the car's chassis is manufactured by Dallara.
The 499P Modificata sits on bespoke Pirelli P-Zero tires developed specifically for the car, aimed to emphasize its drivability and maximize handling feedback for non-professional drivers. The car itself retains the cockpit and ergonomics of the race car but completely recalibrates the suspension setup, engine mapping and electronic controllers. Described by Ferrari as a "strictly limited car", it is not entirely clear how many chassis are intended to be built. Each chassis is said to cost around $5.1 million, covering the cost of the car and two years of the Sport Prototipi Clienti program.
Now this casting was designed by Ron Wong and introduced in 2025 in a boxed set. It has a removable engine cover. This is currently its only release.
