This is a '70 Ford Escort Mk 1 RS1600. Designed by Harris Mann as a replacement for the Ford Anglia, the Escort was first introduced in 1967 in Ireland and the UK before making its show debut in 1968 at the Brussels Motor Show. Presented as the first passenger car produced by Ford of Europe, the Escort was an instant succes; by 1974, 2 million were produced, a feat unmatched by any non-American Ford model until that point. The RS1600 (RS standing for Rallye Sport) was a high-performance version of the Escort, replacing the older Twin Cam model; these became successful rally cars. Production ended in 1975 when the next-generation Escort was introduced; the Escort remains a cult classic.

Now this casting was designed by Fraser Campbell and introduced in 2015, replicating the Escort Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner drove in the movie Fast & Furious 6. This casting has seen sixteen known releases, the last being in 2020 in the Door Slammers segment of Car Culture. A fire extinguisher can be seen in the car. This casting remains very popular and will likely remain in the lineup for a long time.
