This is a '01 Nissan Skyline GT-R V·Spec II R-Tune, internally designated the GF-BNR34. Designed by Kōzō Watanabe, this generation of the Skyline GT-R was the last of its kind; the last of the Skyline GT-Rs before the Skyline range was spun off into a list of luxury cars. The cars were powered by the now-legendary 2.6L RB26DETT inline-6 through a 6-speed Getrag manual. This is passed through the ATTESA 4-wheel drive system. The car was shorter than the previous generation of Skyline GT-R. Production began in 1999 and ended in 2002 with 11,578 produced.

The R-Tune was a special modification for the R34, featuring a more powerful RB26DETT engine with 444 BHP and other modifications, such as a new carbon hood, a stronger clutch and chassis and other fixings. About 25 to 30 were converted by Nissan at their Ōmori Plant; only one was produced by Nissan as a complete car.

Now this casting was designed by Phil Riehlman and introduced in 2010 as a New Model. This casting has had twenty-three known releases, the last being in 2021 as part of the Fast & Furious themed assortment.
