This is a 1989 Toyota Supra 2.0GT Twin Turbo. Internally designated the GA70 (often shortened to A70), the third generation Supra was introduced in February 1986.

Previous generations of the Supra were part of the Celica model range, being named Celica Supra; following 1986 however the Celica morphed to become a front wheel-drive sport coupe while the Supra remained a rear-wheel drive grand tourer-like coupe. The A70 came equipped with an arsenal of new technology such as the new 3.0L 7M-GE inline-6, 3-channel ABS, the TEMS suspension system and the ACIS variable intake manifold system.

Turbocharged models were also available, available with either the 3.0L 7M-GTE turbocharged inline-6 and the 2.0L 1G-GTE twin turbocharged inline-6; the latter version was known as the 2.0GT Twin Turbo and was one of the higher trim levels, being sold only in Japan. The engine produced 207 horsepower and was mated to either a 5-speed Toyota W58 manual; a 4-speed Toyota A340E automatic was optional. Changes for 1989 were mainly in relation to the engine; in 1990, the 2.5L 1JZ-GTE twin turbocharged inline-6 was introduced to the model. The 2.0 models were discontinued in 1992 while the remaining models were discontinued in 1993. 241,471 were produced.

Now this casting was designed by Ron Wong and introduced in 2024 in the Team Transport segment of the mainline. This is currently its only release.
