The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX is the ninth generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the sports sedan and rally-tuned version of the Mitsubishi Lancer. The Evo IX, as it is colloquially known, was produced from 2005 to 2007, to be replaced by the Evolution X.
The casting reuses an interior mold from the Lancer Evolution 7 and is designed using that casting as a general basis.
