This is a Ferrari F512 M. Designed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti of Pininfarina, the F512 M was the third and final iteration of the Testarossa family of flat-12-powered grand tourers.
Introduced at the 1994 Paris Motor Show, the F512 M was a significantly restyled version of the previous 512 TR and the entire Testarossa family as a whole. In comparison to the other members of the Testarossa family, the F512 M featured open headlights, redesigned front and rear fascias and new wheel rims. A few small visual changes were made to the car's interior, such as a new steering wheel design, alloy gear shift lever and adjustable aluminum pedals.
The F512 M was powered by a 4.9L F113G040 flat-12 producing 440 horsepowed, mated to a 5-speed manual. Compared to previous Testarossas, the F113G040 featured titanium conrods and a new crankshaft, allowing the engine to be lighter and have a higher rev limit. It has a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). It uses Pirelli P Zero tires on 18-inch rims.
Production began in late 1994 following its October 1994 launch in Paris. Production of the F512 M and the entire Testarossa series ended in early 1996, with the F512 M being the last Ferrari vehicle to use a flat-12 engine. The car has no direct successor but it was succeeded in the lineup by the 550 Maranello in 1996, another 12-cylinder grand tourer model. 501 were produced.
Now this casting was designed by Michael Kollins and introduced in 1998. This is a modification of the 1987 Testarossa casting. This casting has seen seventeen known releases, the last in 2013. It is unlikely this specific tooling will return due to rumors of tooling destruction following the initial loss of the Ferrari license in 2014.
