This is a depiction of a customized 1949 Volkswagen Beetle. It features an opening engine bay and a removable surfboard from a top-mounted roof rack; certain versions do not include the roof rack. All versions feature a unique safari window sculpt with the safari window outward; the window was originally intended to be movable but was "too fine" and was ultimately made fixed.
The casting was named the 1949 VW "Kawa-Bug-A" in development.
