This is a '00 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. Introduced in 1999, the Evo VI, as it was commonly known, mainly focused on cooling and engine durability. The car received a larger intercooler and oil cooler, new pistons and a titanium-aluminide turbine wheel for RS models, as well as a new front bumper with smaller fog lights. Various new models such as the RS2 and RS Sprint were introduced. A Tommi Makinen special edition was also introduced, painted in red and also featured various other performance and aesthetic upgrades. Powered by a 2.0L 4G63 turbocharged inline-4 mated to a 5-speed manual, the standard Evo VI was never officially sold outside of Japan. Production ended in 2001 with 10,100 produced.

Now this casting was designed by Mark Jones and introduced in 2021 in the Modern Classics segment of the Car Culture Premium Series. As this is a relatively recent release this is currently its only release. The casting was teased early on in 2021 in early prototype form.

A curiosity: front air vents are actually part of the interior.
