This is a '20 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Designed by Kevin Hunter, the third generation Tacoma, introduced in 2016, features a new exterior profile with styling cues from the 2014 Toyota 4Runner and Tundra, featuring new projector beam headlamps and a larger grill. Other aesthetic changes were also made to the tailgate such as a debossed Tacoma logo and an infused spoiler. The TRD Pro is the range topping version of the Tacoma, featuring a 3.5L 2GR-FKS V6, TRD FOX suspension, TRD forged upper control arms, a new design of black alloy wheel, a TRD Pro bed stamp and new hood graphics and front grill. Exclusive colors came from Quicksand to Voodoo Blue as shown here. Assembly of this car is currently done in Guanajuato and Tijuana in Mexico; prior to 2021 assembly was also done in Texas.
Now this casting was designed by the late Ryu Asada and introduced in 2022 in the HW Hot Trucks lineup. As this is a relatively recent release this is currently its only release.
