This is a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Designed by Adam Rabinowitz under Kevin Hunter at Calty Design Research, the Tacoma is a line of pickup trucks produced mainly for markets in the Americas and other smaller territories.
The fourth generation Tacoma, internally designated N400, was unveiled in May 2023; it is based on the Toyota Tundra and uses the same TNGA-F platform. The Tacoma received a radical restyling from the previous generation, with the design intended "to be authentic to the way their customers use their trucks for outdoor fun" with an "iconic look" which includes "high lift, big tires, slim body and a powerful athletic stance". The sole engine option is a 2.4L T24A-FTS turbocharged inline-4.
The 2024 Tacoma is available in eight trim levels, six of which are carried over from the previous generation; these range from the base SR model to the top-line TRD Pro and Trailhunter models. The TRD Pro is intended to be an off-road focused trim for the Tacoma and is equipped with numerous features; the 2024 model is priced starting at $63,900. The model is manufactured in plants in Mexico; one in Guanajuato and another in Tijuana.
The Tacoma TRD Pro uses the same T24A-FTS engine but now has an i-FORCE MAX Hybrid powertrain, producing 326 horsepower. The sole transmission option is an 8-speed Toyota AL80F automatic. Other features include 2.5 inch FOX Internal Bypass QS3 shocks with rear piggyback-style remote reservoirs, IsoDynamic Performance front seats with dampening systems, a part-time four-wheel drive system named 4WDemand, a number of aesthetic changes and generally a larger and wider girth than other models. First deliveries occurred in June 2024.
Now this casting was designed by Rob Matthes and introduced in 2025 in the Boulevard line. This is currently its only release.
