The Toyota Starlet was a series of subcompact automobiles sold by Toyota from 1973 through 1999, replacing the Toyota Publica but retaining the "P" chassis codes used by its predecessor; the first generation Starlets were actually sold as the Publica Starlet. The second generation Starlet was the first of the Starlets to be exported and was sold from 1978 to 1984. This generation has been very popular among the drag racing community for many years.
This casting is based on a highly-modified KP61 Toyota Starlet. In development this casting was titled the '83 Toyota Starlet.
