This is a 1989 Lamborghini LM002. Designed by Giulio Alfieri, the LM002 is an off-road vehicle manufactured by Lamborghini in small quantities starting in 1986.
Part of the Lamborghini Militaria series of off-road-centric vehicles, the LM002 was the fourth vehicle in this series. Its design dates back to 1977 when Rodney Paris of Mobility Technology International designed an off-road vehicle known as the Cheetah to market to the US Army, although it was only demonstrated to the US Army and never actually was adopted. Following revisions in the design resulting in the LM001 and LMA002, the LMA002 would be extensively redesigned to become what would now be known as the LM002.
Shown off at the 1986 Brussels Motor Show and dubbed the Rambo Lambo, the LM002 was powered by a 5.2L L503 V12, taken directly from the Countach; this was mated to a 5-speed manual and produced 444 horsepower. The cars were fitted with full leather trim, tinted power windows, air conditioning and a premium roof-mounted stereo system; the cars also ride on Pirelli Scorpion tires, custom-made for the LM002.
Notable owners of the LM002 included Keke Rosberg, Mike Tyson, Eddie Van Halen, Sylvester Stallone and even Tina Turner. A one-off wagon version was commissioned by Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah; the build was completed by Salvatore Diomante. Production was announced to end in 1991, with the car's complicated manufacturing process essentially forcing them to discontinue the car to focus on more profitable models; production would end in 1993, with the last sixty cars named the LM/American, designed specifically for the US market. 328 (some sources say 301) were produced.
Now this casting was designed by Ron Wong and introduced in 2025 in the Fast and Furious Premium Series. This is currently its only release.
