This is an '03 Honda NSX Type R, also known as the NSX-R. Designed by Ken Okuyama, Masahito Nakano, Shigeru Uehara and James Stevens, this was a highly-tuned version of the original Honda NSX, initially introduced in 2002. Weight reduction was also repeated, including carbon kevlar racing seats and the removal of any air conditioning, sound insulation and the stereo system. The car's 3.2L C32B V6 was given special attention and built by a skilled technician to maximum precision. The engine is said to put out 290 BHP. The NSX-R was only produced for one year; only 140 were produced, making this one of the rarest Honda NSXs.
Now this casting was designed by the late Ryu Asada and introduced in 2020 in the Quick Shifters sub-series of the Fast and Furious Premium Series. This casting has seen two known releases (technically three) and was last seen in 2022 in the Mountain Drifters segment of the Car Culture Premium line. The technicality refers to a possible wheel variation for the original Quick Shifters release of the NSX, with 5-spokes as opposed to 6-spokes, more likely due to an error at assembly.
