This is a '72 Nissan Skyline H/T 2000 GT-X. Designed by Shinichiro Sakurai and internally designated the C10, third generation of Nissan Skyline was the first to carry the Nissan branding after the Prince branding was phased out by 1968. The car was sold at Nissan Prince stores, essentially what became of the Prince name, and was sold with the 1.5L G15 inline-4 initially. In other countries the C10 was known as the Datsun Skyline or the 2000 or 2400GT. A station wagon was also offered. The GT-X version was equipped with the 2.0L L20SU inline-6; the chassis itself was actually already designed to hold an inline-6. Initially available only as a coupe, in 1972 the GT-X lineup extended to include a four-door sedan. The C10 is also noted for being the first generation to have a GT-R model. 310,447 C10s were produced in total.

Now this casting was designed by Jun Imai and introduced in 2011 as a New Model. This casting has seventeen known releases, the last in 2022 in the HW J-Imports mini collection. A Super Treasure Hunt version also exists, shown above.
