This is a '99 Nissan Skyline GT-R, internally designated the GF-BNR34 (often shortened to R34). Designed by Kōzō Watanabe, the R34 was the final generation of the Nissan Skyline GT-R, introduced in January 1999. Available in standard, V·Spec and V·Spec N1 trim, the R34 was shorter than its predecessor, the R33, and front overhang was reduced; the car was shortened due to customer concerns.

Under the hood was a 2.6L RB26DETT twin-turbocharged inline-6, making 276 BHP, mated to a Getrag 6-speed 233 manual. Inside the car was a new multi-function display, showing live readings of engine and vehicle statistics. The car's valve covers were painted in Cherry Red, a break from previous generations. The car featured the ATESSA E-TC all-wheel drive system, with the higher-spec V·Spec models having the "Pro" system and am active LSD, as well as firmer suspension and lower ground clearance. The V·Spec II introduced in 2001 builds on the original V·Spec model, with larger brake rotors and stiffer springs.

After a notably short production run, Nissan discontinued the R34 in August 2002, putting an end to the Skyline GT-R name. Nissan later announced the separation of the Skyline and GT-R names, with the Skyline name now used for a line of luxury sedans and the GT-R name being spun off into its own separate model line. Due to its appearance in popular media, the R34 has become a cult classic and holds legendary status among the various echelons of Japanese automobiles.

Now this casting was designed by Phil Riehlman and introduced in 2010 as a New Model. This casting has had twenty-seven known releases, the last being in 2022 as part of a Fast & Furious Entertainment mix.
