The Nissan Laurel is a two- or four-door sedan produced by Nissan from 1968 to 2002. The C33, introduced in 1989 and styled by Naganori Ito, acted as the car's sixth generation and was only available as a four-door sedan. Positioned as a luxury car, the car was intended to compete against offerings such as the Toyota Cresta, Honda Inspire, Mitsubishi Emeraude and ɛ̃fini MS-8. Trim levels included Medalist, Medalist Club S and Gran Limited. Production ended in 1993; today the car is popular as a drift car.
This casting depicts a modified Nissan Laurel with a widebody kit, heart-shaped exhaust pipe and lowered stance; it is based in part on John Sharkey's 1991 Nissan Laurel Medalist. Its rear windows are rolled down, leaving the pillarless window frame exposed.
