The ford bronco was Fords first successful SUV. Made from 1965 to 1996 and put back in production in 2021. This is a third gen Bronco made from 1980 to 1986. It only came as a 2 door full size SUV. It did have the great 351 cu in 5.8 L windsor V8 making 210 hp. This was she the downfall of the Bronco started. The Bronco ll came out in 1982 and started to take away the normal Broncos sales. This generation was the first to have a inline 6 as the base engine since 1977. By the final year of this generation the big v8s started to get cancelled. This generation was heavily dependent on the seventh gen F series with almost all it's body panels and frame being the same. The only real difference was it's roof line. The trim levels of this bronco even became the same as the F series.
