This is a 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R. Designed by Grant Larson and Sebastian Golz, the 911 GT3 R is the latest version of the 911 GT3 racing sports car, intended for competition in Group GT3 racing.
The 911 GT3 R is powered by a 4.2L M97/80 flat-6 making about 565 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed sequential developed in-house; compared to previous iterations of the car it has a larger engine. The car's front and rear aprons ensure "optimized airflow", with LED headlights and taillights highlighting the car's "mysterious appearance"; it also features an "ergonomic interior" with a large steering wheel with illuminated controls.
A number of packages are available for the 911 GT3 R such as two sensor packages, a camera package and packages for specific racing series. Introduced in 2023, the 911 GT3 R competes in numerous GT3 racing series, such as the IMSA SportsCar Championship, FIA World Endurance Championship, GT World Challenge and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. The car's first win was at the 2023 12 Hours of Sebring with Pfaff Motorsports.
A highly successful car, the 911 GT3 R has achieved many major victories as well as having achieved a number of championships. Notable championships won with the 911 GT3 R include the 2024 FIA WEC LMGT3 Endurance Championship, 2024 IMSA GTD Pro Championship, 2024 GT World Challenge Asia and the 2024 NLS Speed-Trophäe.
Now this casting was designed by Charlie Angulo and introduced in 2024 in the Car Culture line. This casting has seen three known releases, the last being this one in 2025.
