This is a '67 Toyota 2000GT. Designed by Jiro Kawano and Satoru Nozaki in collaboration with Yamaha, the 2000GT acted as Toyota's halo car when introduced in 1967. It aided in revolutionizing the automotive world's view of Japan, which was at that point viewed as a producer of imitative and unimaginative, but practical vehicles. Its design was inspired by the Jaguar XKE (E-Type), with aluminum bodywork and prominent pop-up headlamps above the covered driving lamps flanking the grill. The car is now considered the first seriously collectible Japanese car, and their first supercar; its performance at the Yatabe Speed Trials stunned western automakers, who subsequently began to take Japanese automakers very seriously. Only 351 were produced before the car was discontinued in 1970. Examples of the car have since sold for over $1.2m.

Now this casting was designed by Jun Imai and introduced in 2013 in the mainline. It was originally intended for release in the final wave of the 2012 Hot Wheels Racing line, but that line was ultimately canceled. This casting has seen ten known releases, the last in 2020 as part of the Tokyo Olympics Mainline series.
