🇹 Toyota MR2 (Tooned)

This is a Custom 2004 Toyota MR2. Designed by Harunori Shiratori, the MR2 was a two-seat mid-engined sports car manufactured by Toyota; it was marketed under a number of different names in a number of countries.

The third generation of the MR2, the ZZW30 (usually shortened to W30), was first shown off at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show; the MR2 was radically re-engineered from its predecessor, becoming a convertible and exhibiting significant styling changes. The MR2, known as the MR-S (Midship Runabout Sports) in Japan, the MR2 blended "good movement, low inertia and light weight" with a long wheelbase for "high stability", a mid-engined design for better handling and simple body structures to allow for more modification potential at a lower cost to its consumer, at least according to Shiratori.

The sole engine option for the MR2 was a 1.8L 1ZZ-FE inline-4 producing 138 horsepower; this was mated to a 5-speed manual initially but other transmission options became available later. The engine featured dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder, with the intake timing adjustable by the VVT-i systems. The car could hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.8 seconds and weighed 996 kg (2,195 lb). Production of the MR2 in the United States would be discontinued at the end of 2005 due to low sales, although production in other countries continued until July 2007 with no direct successor. Toyota has since hinted at reviving the MR2 nameplate.

Now this casting was designed by Alec Tam and introduced in 2004 as a New Model. Being of the 'Tooned style it features cartoonish proportions and a more extreme body kit. This casting has seen three known releases, the last in 2015 in the Mystery Models series.
